Following the ancient path of Jesus, transforming the modern world.

We believe the future of the Church is not found in chasing the next trend, but in recovering the timeless practices, theology, and mission entrusted to the Church by Christ and faithfully lived by the earliest Christians.

To be Ancient Future is to stand firmly on the unchanging truth of God’s Word while engaging an ever-changing culture with wisdom, love, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

We are rooted without becoming rigid.

We are relevant without becoming compromised.

We embrace the richness of the historic Christian faith while speaking its truth in a way that reaches today’s world.

Our desire is not to recreate the first century but to recover its priorities.

Like the early Church, we devote ourselves to the apostles’ teaching, prayer, worship, biblical community, the sacraments, generosity, Spirit-empowered ministry, and the mission of making disciples.

We believe the Church is at her best when she is both deeply rooted and courageously sent.

We are ancient in our foundation.

We are future in our mission.

Making Jesus Known.

Everything we do exists for one purpose:

To make Jesus known.

We make Him known through our words, our lives, our love, our service, and our witness.

Every ministry, every message, every gathering, every relationship, and every act of compassion should point people toward Jesus Christ.

To become a multiplying community of mature disciples who make Jesus known by strengthening families, equipping servant leaders, planting healthy churches, and transforming the modern world through the power of the Holy Spirit.

We envision a church where…

We Live the JESUS Life

Our mission is to make Jesus known, and our method is to live the JESUS Life.

The JESUS Life is the practical expression of what it means to follow Christ every day.

J — Jesus First

Christ is the center of our lives.

We seek His Kingdom above all else, surrendering every area of life to His Lordship.

E — Experiencing the Holy Spirit

We depend upon the Holy Spirit for power, wisdom, holiness, and mission.

We desire both the fruit of the Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit, believing every believer is called to walk in the fullness of God’s Spirit.

S — Serving Others

We follow the example of Jesus by laying down our lives for others.

Greatness in God’s Kingdom is measured by humble service.

U — Uniting with Believers

We grow best in biblical community.

We pursue unity, accountability, encouragement, and authentic relationships because disciples are formed together.

S — Sharing All We Have

We live generously with our time, gifts, resources, homes, and lives.

Everything we possess belongs to God and is stewarded for His Kingdom.

Living the JESUS Life is how we make Jesus known.

Desire

Awakening a hunger for God.

Discover

Helping people discover Christ, community, identity, and purpose.

Develop

Growing mature disciples through intentional spiritual formation and leadership development.

Deploy

Sending equipped disciples into their homes, workplaces, neighborhoods, and the nations to make Jesus known.

Discipleship is not a class.

It is the lifelong process of becoming like Jesus and helping others do the same.

These are the load-bearing beams of Resurrection Church.

Honor

We recognize God’s image and God-given value in every person and respond in a way that reflects that value.

Honor is the culture of heaven expressed on earth.

Unity

We intentionally protect the unity of the Spirit through humility, forgiveness, love, and shared mission.

Unity is not uniformity.

It is diverse people moving together toward one purpose.

Excellence

We pursue excellence because God deserves our very best and people matter.

Excellence is not perfection.

It is faithful stewardship.

Sacrifice

We willingly lay down our comfort, preferences, time, talents, and resources for the glory of God and the good of others.

The Kingdom advances through sacrificial love.

Ephesians 4:11–16 provides both our model of ministry and our philosophy of leadership.

Jesus gave leaders to equip His people for the work of ministry until the whole Body matures into the fullness of Christ.

Leadership is not about building platforms.

Leadership is about building people.

Therefore, every leader at Resurrection Church exists to:

• Develop rather than simply direct.

• Empower rather than control.

• Multiply rather than accumulate.

• Release rather than retain.

Our success is measured by the maturity of the people we equip, not the prominence of the leaders we produce.

Discipleship is our method.

Transformation is our goal.

Multiplication is our expectation.

Every believer is called to become a disciple who makes disciples.

Every leader is responsible for developing future leaders.

We believe healthy disciples build healthy families.

Healthy families build healthy churches.

Healthy churches transform communities.

Our Commitment to Men and Families

We believe that when God transforms a man, He often transforms a family.

Therefore, we intentionally invest in developing godly men who lead with humility, integrity, courage, compassion, and sacrificial love.

Our commitment to men is not because they are more valuable, but because biblical leadership in the home has a profound influence on generations. As men are formed into the likeness of Christ, marriages are strengthened, children are discipled, and families become places where the Kingdom of God is lived and passed on.
